Group Use of Trails and Facilities

Porcupine Ski Runners (PSR) supports and encourages the use of our facilities by groups as a means of raising the profile of cross country skiing, snowshoeing, health and fitness and our club.

 Groups wishing to use PSR facilities will complete a registration form, pay the required fees and abide by the rules and expectations as outlined in this policy.  To request a group activity, please follow the steps below:

**Please note that during the week the rental room is open from 12noon - 6PM.  Groups requiring rentals are encouraged to book their outings in the afternoon if possible.  Arrangements can usually be made for arrival time before noon, but please submit such requests well in advance, and accommodation is not guaranteed. **

Step 1: Read the Group Use of Trails and Facilities Policy and Waiver

Step 2: Request your date by filling out and submitting the appropriate booking form

Step 3: Wait for confirmation of your requested date (response is usually within 48 hours)

Step 4: Once approved, complete the participants list.  If you have participants renting ski packages, you must submit the list at least 4 days prior to your event, indicating the height and boot size for all rentals
Step 5: Submit payment
  • we prefer payment in advance, but upon request, payment may be made when you arrive for your activity. 
  • You can pay by mailing a cheque or in person at the PSR chalet by cheque, cash, credit or debit card.
  • Please include a copy of your registration form showing the total due with your payment.
Step 6: Come and enjoy your activity!
  • On arrival at PSR, please check in at the rental room and sign the acceptance of terms and conditions
  • Please be sure to review our trail maps prior to going out on the trails
  • Please ensure that all youth participants are properly supervised on the trails and in the chalet
